Pumpkin Patch

by

Autumn is finally here! To celebrate October, we went to our favorite pumpkin patch last week and had a great time! Mark's aunt and her adorable son were in town, so we joined them and Mark's parents and little brother for a day at Cool Patch Pumpkins. It was a perfect day, sunny and warm but with enough of a breeze to make it feel (almost) like fall. Mark and I have been coming to this pumpkin patch for the last several years (it was also my mom's favorite), and we love it! They have a ridiculous assortment of pumpkins and gourds, a giant corn-maze, hay rides, and a "Kid Zone" with a mini maze, pedal cars and a large corn bath. They have plenty of wagons for you to use for pumpkin collecting and a huge tee-pee set up out in the middle of the pumpkin patch (also cute mini cabins for the kids to play in). This year was the first year we ate at the patch, and we were pleasantly surprised! We all enjoyed tri-tip sandwiches and shaved ice. They also have coffee and cider, but it was a little warm that day for those. It was such a fun day and Becks' first trip to the pumpkin patch!
